Sunday Stroll - A Long Walk

Finally, a blue sky day.
With so many shades of blue beckoning
I just had to go for a long walk.

We still have autumn color, but recent winds are bringing the leaves down.
Some flutter to the ground.
Others are caught, as if the tree is trying to hold on to autumn...
 just a little bit longer.

The creek is laughing and skipping with the pure joy of an autumn full of rain.
I walked quietly beside her, but my heart was skipping along.

The light was amazing.

I lay down in the heart of a wide open meadow
just to feel the sun's warmth
and to look up and get lost
in those many shades of blue.

Wherever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you joy.

So exquisite Aisling… I'm so happy you dropped by today. You know these would be wonderful to link to I Heart Macro, if you feel so inclined. I do hope you will add your voice to a patch in the gratitude quilt this year:-)

Oh
I enjoyed walking with you and it is so much like my surroundings.
Want to walk in the woods and limbs down everywhere.
I might must venture a little distance - always with Miss Callie and phone in my pocket :)

Beautiful! That's a perfect Sunday, right? It's still pretty here so lots of walks are in order!
Have a happy week, Aisling!

Thank you, Tabor, Laura, Ernestine and Pom Pom for sharing my walk with me! I love that I could first enjoy the solitude of my quiet commune with nature, and then enjoy sharing it with kindred spirits!

Ernestine, I hope you and Callie enjoyed a lovely walk. Pom Pom, Yep! A perfect Sunday!
