It may be difficult for me to get good garden photos today, and I may have to take my walk in a raincoat or a heavy sweater. This is our weather forecast for the day: "Cloudy with a few showers. Cold. High 47F. Winds NW at 15 to 25 mph. Chance of rain 30%."
The chance of rain is only 30%, but the wind is certain; it is already here. Wind keeps the leaves here in motion almost every day, but today it has tree branches swaying as well. Like a good rain, the wind can be a cleansing experience... maybe not so good for snapping crisp, focused photos of flower petals, but good for the soul.
"Only those in tune with nature seem to pick up on the energy in wind. All sorts of things get swept off in the breeze - ghosts, pieces of soul, voices unsung, thoughts repressed, love uncherished, and a thousands galore of spiritual ether. Wind is an emotional rush because emotions are rushing by. " ~Drew Sirtors
Whatever the weather in your corner of the world, if you have time this week for a Sunday Stroll, please post about about it on your blog and then come back here with a comment and a link to your post. You may use the Sunday Stroll button at the top of this post on your post or side bar if you would like. I will add participant names to this post so other strollers can walk through your garden too. I'll check back often and try to keep the list updated.
Look who's strolling today:
Robbin at Cedar Chest of Dreams
Me, here at The Quiet Country House
Nan at Letters from a Hill Farm
Joyce at Tall Grass Worship
Amy at Embracing Change

Hi Aisling, I took my stroll. I hope you get to take yours with your cool weather. It is beautiful here today, a bit windy but very warm. Thanks for inviting me.
I'm off to look at yours, and have a few photos myself but it is so windy I didn't get many good images. Thanks for joining me!
Hi, I found you through Nan's blog. I love the idea of the Sunday Stroll! I'm not having any luck getting your button, but I wanted to let you know I did take some photos of my garden, and I would like to keep doing this over the course of the summer and fall.
Next Sunday I'll try and remember to come tell you that I've posted a Stroll entry.:<) Thanks for coming by and for your nice comment.
Joyce left a comment on my blog that she was going to do a Sunday Stroll but wasn't sure about the linking thing, so I thought I'd send you her address to add to your list.

Joyce, I'm off to look at your photos. I'm sorry about the button - maybe you could try to get it from Nan's blog. If not, it's ok - I'm just glad to have you join us.
Nan, Thank you. I'll add Joyce's link too. I'm glad she found us. :)
Hi, Aisling! I finally got out for a stroll this afternoon. The pictures didn't quite turn out like I wanted, but it was a great chance to spend some time with my daughter anyway. I'm sorry your weather was bad . . . I'll try to send some of our sunshine your way!
Amy, I'm off to peek at your blog. I'm glad you got outside with your daughter, and glad that you could participate! :)
Hello. It's such a pleasure to stumble upon another blogger who obviously loves nature. I will check back regularly to see what you have up.
Stellamarie, Thank you for visiting. I'll look for your blog and return the visit. Nice to meet you! : )
