Thank you for the happy wishes. We are plugging along. I'll tell you more later. I hope you are able to take a nap, a walk, read a book - find some sweet peace around such a holy holiday.
Thank you, Pom Pom! I have been a bit on the lazy side today. We keep our Christmas Eve pretty low key. The kids decorated their sugar cookies, as every year, and we are having a feast of snacks in a while instead of a regular meal (also "as every year.")
Just got home from Jeremy and Jodie's,his Mom and Gary were there and we had a wonderful dinner and watched mostly Hannah open presents. It was a pleasant evening. I haven't made sugar cookies since you kids left home. Sort of miss all that creativity, hustle and bustle.
It sounds like you had a nice evening. We opened one present each this evening: our new pjs so we look cute in the morning (at dawn, if the boys have their way!) while opening gifts. We're setting out milk and cookies for the big guy and then it is light's out. :)
Your cookies are so cute! You must be enjoying them, and all the traditions. Happy Christmas and thanks for all the wonderful blogging through the seasons of the year.
They were cuter still once the kids had frosted and decorated them. Goopier, but cuter! *grin*
Thank you for the thoughtful comment, and for strolling along with me through the seasons. I'm especially thrilled that you stroll even when travelling. It is a thrill to share your adventures through your wonderful photos!
