After I have done all I can,
when I have nothing left to give,
I need some time
in my green sanctuary.
I lay down
in the soft grass
in a room that smells of
cedar and solitude.
In this temple of falling leaves
there are sacred artifacts
that remind me that there is
beauty in imperfection.
Light pours in
through the canopy
with a message so elemental
It cannot be expressed in words.
So I breathe
I simply breathe
until the tension leaves my body
and the frantic drumming
of my heart
eases to a
steady tranquility.
Where ever you are, whatever the weather I wish you restoration and peace.

It is so nice here today I can't think about doing anything but enjoying the day.A rather laid back Friday.
There is NOTHING like a good rest in nature. Beautiful poem.
Wonderful. But I couldn't lay down outdoors for the bugs. I know. Not much of a nature girl. But I do love being outdoors, especially this time of year.
These words
are beautiful.
Think I will head outdoors to the woods
would
but it is raining :)
Just what I needed at this moment.
Thank you...
What a beautiful sentiment.
-clapping hands- I think I solved the "Blog Size Issue" for Everyone!!!!!

As canning nears an end, I can begin to imagine a day to just relax! Won't that be nice!
Beautiful writing, and very inspiring.
