Sunday Stroll - Letting the Lawn Go

The un-mowed lawn becomes biodiverse
in just a few short seasons.

It is still green,
but flecked with color.

Overhead, the leaves and the sky
shimmer in the summer light.

The lawn becomes a meadow instead,
a place of peace
and restoration.

Wherever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you serenity.

If you have a moment, head on over to Steve's Out on the Prairie
for a little taste of prairie style serenity.
