There are pockets of color scattered around the vegetable garden.
The bees, of all sorts and sizes,
are loving the herb blossoms,
from comfrey to lavender
and everything in between.
What's in the kitchen garden?
Everything but the kitchen sink.
Oh, there's one of those too,
overflowing with salad greens (and reds!)

Love the bumble bee and your inventive way for planters! This looks great..now we have butterfly bushes and we bought milkweed which now has aphids. My hubby has sprayed them with water and water with a bit of soap but they keep coming back.
Aphids are tough to get rid of! I use water and dishsoap too. Just be very thorough, especially on under side of leaves. I usually have to try several times before I get ahead of the aphids.
