I had to slip into some of the wild nooks and crannies on the edges of our property to get photos today. The flowers in the gardens are in constant motion with this chilly wind, and every photo I took was just a blur. Ah look, a purple blur... must be a tulip. This white blur? I think it was the foam flower (tiarella.) Finally, I made my way to the wild edges of our property, down in the low areas amid the native dogwood and viburnum, to take my Sunday Stroll photos.

Oh but you got some pretty pictures. In fact that area reminds me of a place behind my house in the woods, maybe I'll take a stroll that way next time. It's a pretty good hike though, but I feel stronger everyday. It looks so sunny, if you hadn't told me, I'd thought it was a warm sunny day. And Chocolate Mint in the Creekbed, sounds like the name of a novel. And I loved that picture best of course. Thanks for venturing out in that cold wind and sharing. Hoping for you warm weather ahead.
Robbin, There is a story to that Chocolate Mint, so it's funny that you think it sounds like a novel. I'll tell it here one day soon (it's just a little story really.)
It does look beautiful through the windows here - the sky is so blue and the fields and trees so green. But it is not warm at all.
I'd love to see your photos from the place you described. I love the quiet, tucked away places... there is a good kind of solitude in walking alone beneath the trees.
