I usually start the morning with coffee, but then switch to tea... so I completely understand. I am refueled by a goodnights sleep too. I'm sorry you didn't get a good rest last night. ugh.
Your day of painting sounds idyllic. For me, that would be writing (in some moods) or just working in the garden. :)
Oh the quiet house... You can't imagine how blissful that sounds to me. If everyone is gone for too long, I start to miss them... but a quiet house for a few hours is restorative!
My thanks to you too, for such thoughtful responses!

Five things that inspire me:
unique people
the smell of coffee
aggressively thoughtful writers
juvenile fiction
prayers
my first cup of tea and a good night's sleep, which eluded me last night...
a long day of painting after a morning walk with my camera as the sun shines through fingers of fog...
a long warm bath, a candle and the perfect quiet of an empty house for just a little while ;)
gratitude to you for making me think!

Pom Pom,
Your "unique people" are probably similar to my vibrant people. :)
I love the smell of coffee too, adore juvenile fiction, and believe in the power of prayer.
I certainly am inspired by writers of many "stripes" but am curious about your "agressively thoughtful" variety. Can you give me an example?
Thanks for sharing your inspirations!
