Who tends the garden?
Who silently climbs a ladder bright,
Stitched of color and woven light?
While soft wings flutter out of sight,
Who tends the garden day and night?
Who softly across the petal-silk creeps,
While the wild wind blows and the gray sky weeps,
Beauty is tended by the Beast.

Where ever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you beauty and light!

Beautiful, as always. Those clouds look too good to be true!
Nicely done.
Tina & Tabor, Thank you both for the kind words, and thank you for visiting! :)
Ohh, what wonderful narrative. The little beasts of gardening are always welcome helpers. Obviously I'm thinking of the legendary ants on my Peony at the moment.
Mom, Cute! You can go right on thinking of your ants and the peonies! Obvioulsy, the ants are broadly in favor of peonies. We find them together where ever peonies grow, I believe!
Thank you for your nice words about my narrative. There is always a story in the garden. This is the one I heard as I walked today. :)
So pretty!
Margaret, Thank you! So many things in bloom so early this year! :)
Absolutely LOVE your pix and prose! The clouds are outstanding and the colors are so vibrant! Welcome the winds of spring!
Hello Dear One!
Your new picture is beeeeyoooootiful! Your photos today and your words are lovely.
Guess what? We have a new granddaughter! Aria Lee. She is just three days old. It has been chilly here and I've stayed inside reading and watching Lark Rise to Candleford. I'm addicted. Five more weeks until school is out and I can play. You, too! (BIG LOVE!)
Ruth, Thank you! Those were some very cute clouds, for sure!
Pom Pom, I'm so excited for you; a new baby to love! What a beautiful time for your family!
I wish I was out in 5 weeks, but I am taking classes for most of spring and summer. *sigh* It will be worth it in the end, right?
Have a lovely week, both of you!
Beautiful photos, beautiful text. You inspire me :)
Btw, LOVE the pretty profile picture!
happy day!

Aisling, such beautiful words and images. Could not sleep and up with hot chocolate. A soothing entry.
this is a lovely post and that purple flower, an iris?, i didn't catch that-is wonderfully awesome....yum.
i didn't do my stroll today but worked in the courtyard so perhaps next week, i shall have something to share....i must go wander in gardens now, my dear.
xoxoxox to you
♥
Marcia, Thank you for letting me know you appreciated my post! :)
Ernestine, Wish you could sleep, but glad you came by to visit!
Linda, The purple flower is an atypical tulip. Isn't it wild? This one is particularly atypical because where one of it's petals should be is a leaf with a deep purple streak. Enjoy your gardens and I look forward to a stroll post from you next week!
Just gorgeous. I especially love the weather photo. And I also like the new page design and your profile pic. You look just beautiful!
Jessica, Thank you, thank you and thank you! :) The clouds this spring have been so interesting and beautiful. I wish I had had a camera with me yesterday when the clouds looked like flying saucers dotted all over the sky! lol!
Delightful post with beautiful words and pictures. I see the kitty is watching the garden carefully. :)
Diane, Yes, she is always keeping an eye on things. ;) Thanks for your nice comment!
All LOVELY dear Aisling, but none as lovely as YOU.
Love,
Sharon
Sharon, Thank you! What a nice comment to wake up to first thing this morning! :)
