There are many reasons to adore August...

Sunflowers blooming.
Beach days like yesterday.

Stormy days like today.

Walking through
the rain-washed meadow.

Blackberry picking in the rain,

Or taking shelter
beneath a fragrant cedar tree.

Where ever you are,
whatever the weather,
I wish you a bountiful August.

And a bountiful August to you, too! Love the photos - I see you have a nice stand of mullein. We especially enjoy our blackberry picking, too.
Have a great week!

Great pictures! The sunflower would make a great calendar motive for the month of August.
No cedar trees here in Germany (except for in some botanical gardens maybe), and the nearest beach is 800 km from where I live, but I still have plenty to like about August - about any month, actually :-)

Thank you for returning my visit. There is much to love about each month, as you say, and about each place. :)

Magnolia, Thank you for visiting! I love the mullein; it is like a childhood friend!

Lots of berries here, could use your kids. Need to work over the tomato patch and make some juice today.

A wonderful August stroll through your spaces - thank you for sharing! It is hot here...hot and dry. I envy your thunderstorm a wee bit. Hot & dry has allowed us to enjoy my mom's swimming pool though, so I will not complain. :)
