I have been enjoying the sedum around here as well. I am ready for the change into cooler weather...sweater weatherr...not quite ready for parka weather yet. I still haven't recovered from last winter.
Have worn sweaters a time or two already this month! I'm with you though... not ready for bone-chilling winter. Thank goodness for this transition time.
The bees are busy and we are seeing monarchs frequently now too. They are less cooperative about having their picture taken though! Loving this beautiful season!
Thank you for taking the time to look at the photos full size. Most are taken with my phone, so I hope they hold up to close scrutiny! :) Enjoy the week.
Nan, So glad you came by. The sedum blooms at just the right time here. So many things are fading, mums are not yet blooming, and the sedum blooms as if on cue...to fill the void.
I am surprised to read that your sedum blooms later than mine! Perhaps it needs some cooler air before opening. I love the bumblebee too! Thank you for visiting!

Those last days of gathering keep them busy.
The first photo in my last post was a Coreopsis. Their blooms bring in the Fritillary butterflies.
We have coreopsis here, but I guess I've never looked that close up. It was a great shot!
A real joy to behold, thanks!
Beautiful Sedum... Love, love, love that color.... I'm sure the bee doesn't care though. ,-)

The bees are so busy! Yay! You love September, don't you, A? I do, too!
Gorgeous photos of the sedum and bee. So nice to be able to click and gaze at them full-size.
Have a great Monday!
I was taking photos of my Sedum on Sunday it was literally crawling with insects, bees, butterflies - they love it.
Thank you for that kind comment! Glad you came by.
I love that color too and admire all of the variations of color therein. Thanks for coming by!

Sedum make a lovely landing pad, don't they? Thank you for visiting...I'm off to see if you posted sny of those photos. :)
It has been a joy to see you posting so regularly, Aisling! :)
I have some, too, and just love it!
How pretty! Autumn Joy sedum is growing in my garden but it's not blooming yet. I love the bumble bee. :)
Thank you. So glad to have internet access again at home!
