You can find peace
on a green and blue afternoon
if you hold still,
and turn your face to the sun.
Peace flows down through the trees,
hums near the water's edge,
and lingers
in the shadows and light .
Wherever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you serenity.
Head on over to Out on the Prairie to see the pretties that Steve discovered on his Sunday Stroll.

Glad I got out early, turned a scorcher here. Looks like the Swamp milkweed is blooming at the same time as I have seen it here. Love that dainty yellow bloom.
Thanks for visiting, Steve. The yellow blossom is St. John's Wort, blooming wild. Love the color. It is cool here, after a long, soft rain.
What a lovely stroll. And having cool weather to boot....perfect.
Hi Marcie! Oh, that's a lovely tree photo! I always enjoy your word choice, good poet.
Sandra, Thank you! The cool evenings have been nice. Today is hot and humid, but I am hopeful that the evening will bring relief! Stay cool where you are, if you can!
Pom, Thank you. Trees make amazing subjects for photos, don't they? Sometimes, the words just write themselves, as the photos are set into place. Thank you for all your encouragement!
So beautiful Marcie...both your thoughts and the lovely images~
Yours words are perfect for the pictures, they ripple and flow through them.
YOU, have a great evening.
Hugs,
I am struck by your beautiful words and the meaning wrapped around them and the great pictures
Jan, Sandra and Birgit,
