Today I began the second week of my Autumn Nature Journal.
Here are a couple of glimpses of the past few days.
My "Colors" heading featured orange, and blue,
and even black one day this week.
Under the Simple Pleasures heading,
I notice a trend toward warm beverages,
as the temperatures have been quite cool!
In place of the "Random Thoughts" heading,
I made a heading for "Gratitude."
I think I will stick with this one for subsequent weeks.
If you are joining in keeping a nature journal with PomPom and I,
or even if you are just reading along,
I am grateful for you.
Wherever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you joy.

You have a lovely nature journal Marcie and I do read it as you post your pages. Thank you for sharing them. I agree "gratitude" is a great header~
Jan, Thank you for letting me know you are reading! I have never been diligent about keeping a gratitude journal, but this is a great way to acknowledge my blessings! :)
What a lovely idea to do a nature journal! I like the illustrations!
Sandra, Thank you! Join us if you can. I find that committing to making sketches helps me to be much more observant! I like the sense of peace I find when sitting with a box of crayons and my favorite fine line pen! :)
wonderful idea to do a nature journal!!!! Great sketches!
Happy weekend
Elke
A lot of fun!
Elke, Thank you! I have really been enjoying it.
Steve, Yes, it is! I am enjoying the other journals too. Click on over to PomPom's blog; she is listing them at the end of her post.
Hi friend! I updated the link so new visitors can find this lovely post! Your blue jay is stunning! I think I need a cup of tea now.
PomPom, Thank you for linking to this post. Will try to do this periodically to stay connected with other nature journalers. :D
I sort of like my blue jay, though I struggled with him a bit! Thank you!
I like your Thankful box! Being thankful makes each day brighter, and automatically happier. I like your blue jay :)
MK, Thank you! I am glad you are journaling too! :)
I too like your Blue Jay. So much brighter than our Stellar's Jay. I wonder if yours has the same irritating raucous call!!
I worked on my journal this morning. Must take pics so I can post them.
Granny, Our jays are a rowdy lot. So pretty though so I forgive their rudeness. Lol
I'm going to peek and your blog to see if you posted journal pix. I will try to post from my journal at least once a week.
Great idea to do a nature journal. A great beginning
This is truly beautiful Marcie!! Big Hugs!
