The evening lights our way,
as we slip between the apple trees
and the golden fields.
We find that some blossoms have faded,
but fresh blooms linger
along our trails.
The stillness of evening is a comfort,
at the end of a busy weekend.
Wherever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you peace.

ahhhh that Michigan air smells good!I am expecting a colorful fall.I still don't feel it is time to say goodbye to the blooms but know it could happen soon.

We are having a long slow color change this year. It started early but a warm spell has slowed the progression. Enjoy the season, Steve.
