Sunday Stroll - Last Sunday of January

Something beautiful awaits us,
just over the rise.

Ice catches the light
that the clouds are trying to hide.

We walk,
taking deep breaths of  winter-fresh air,
as the cold wind scours our faces.

Wherever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you joy.

Head on over to Steve's blog to see all the fun there is in strolling Out on the Prairie.

That lake ice is beautiful. I took a hike last week a few times walking the frozen ice on the river.

There are some stunning ice phenomenon, Steve. Blue ice, pancake ice, ice or snow spheres, etc.

Aw, thank you! These low northern hills by Lake Michigan are pretty magical I think.
