Sunday Stroll - Iris Blooming

Rain at dawn cannot wash away
the color and beauty of
the Iris blooming in early June.

Every single blossom smells
like a field full of swtneeess.
Soon, the full pink peonies
will add their scent
to the fresh and fragrant air.

Wherever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you joy.

Lots of fun things to see over at Steve's blog, Out on the Prairie!

Saw buckets of peonies at the farmers market yesterday, smelled each one.In the Canary Islands there was a perfumery that had all the flower scents, it was hard to pick just one.Just posted my stroll, hope your weekend is going smoothly.

I have never seen an Iris the colour of that first photo. It is just so lovely ( of course the others are too but that first one is awesome). Thanks for sharing.
