Now if my son Matthew were there in your garden, he'd try his best to get you to pick those green tomatoes and fry them up for him. He eats really healthy these days, we all have since my mom was diagnosed with diabetes but his one thing is "Fried green tomatoes".
I love the picture of the knot. I have a thing for knots anyway, (weird fact about me) but it is amazing to me how many different knots there are. I should have been a sailor or maybe I was in a past life, lol.

Robbin, My folks eat fried green tomatoes too. But, those in my garden are really, really small right now. He might want to wait a few weeks before frying these! *grin*

I really liked the way the knot photo turned out. I learned some knots way back when I was a girl scout leader and really enjoyed that process. I don't really remember many specific knots. The one in this photo is actually a very knot-like tangle. lol.

So glad you came by! :)

lovely pics as always...what is "wordless wednesday"? I seem to have missed that somewhere along the way...

I wish my tomatoes were that big but I didn't get them in til late but it's been so hot here they will probably ripen next month! I thought fried green tomatoes were actually a "green" tomato ripe, not a green tomato...the stuff I learn on blogs!

Linda, Wordless Wednesday is a blogging event hosted at WordlessWednesday.com. I have posted Wordless Wednesday (or WW) posts on and off for quite some time, because I like having one day that I can just post an interesting photo that tells its own story and not have to compose a note too (though normally, I love writing.) In the past, I have not officially participated by linking to my post on the official website, but have done so the last few weeks... just for fun! :)

Wow, the picture of the tiny bug on the leaf is really cool! Your tomatoes look healthier than mine, which went in late, have been beaten by the wind, and now aren't fruiting because it's too hot. Sigh...Such is the life of a gardener in Colorado :)

Thanks for stopping by to look at my WW butterfly picture (http://chezartz.com/?p=288).

Julie, Thank you. I thought that bug was pretty cute. My tomatoes are mostly healthy, but I did go around and remove some unhealthy foliage on quite a few plants a couple of weeks ago. They seem to be doing really well since then. We got a late start too. Things are growing slowly this year for some reason, but seem healthy and it is raining fairly often. Good luck with your Colorado garden.

Loved your butterfly photo. Thanks for returning my visit. :)
