Sunday Stroll - Easter Color

Bright bits of Easter Color,
were tucked amid spring flowers today
near hyacinth,
and daffodils
and tulips bright
while over these wind-swept hills
clouds gathered.

Where ever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you happy gatherings.

Marcia, Thank you! We had 40 mile an hour wind gusts and gray skies much of the day, but it was April wind... they were Spring Clouds... After winter, those are good things, you know? :)

Pretty spring colors to balance the still winter gray of the sky. I loved that you captured a bird in flight. If I have a choice I'll spend a lifetime as a bird, rising, riding the thermals and singing in the tree tops.

Mom, Thank goodness for the color in the garden to offset the gray. We're so ready for green grass and blue skies! We have had exceptionally mild weather through March and April though.

That bird was either the eagle or a big hawk, but I couldn't tell for sure because of the lighting.

Thanks for visiting!

Your garden & mine are showing similar blooms, except my tulips are only just beginning to bud.

Lovely pics.

Margaret, That tulip is a single mini tulip that blooms really early every year. The rest of my tulips are also just leaves or very early buds.

Thanks for visiting!

Sharon, Oh you are welcome! I was lucky to get a few clear shots with the wind blowly so wildly around me! I'm glad I was able to share my Sunday! :)

Hi Aisling! Yahoo spring is coming. I can't wait to see all the blooms. I hope your spring break was fun and you are all ready for the last weeks of studying!

Marcie said...

Pom Pom, The four weeks ahead seem a little overwhelming. So many exams and projects and presentations to get through! Deep breath.... I'll make it. I will thoroughly enjoy every gentle, slow-motion, walk through my gardens or down my quiet country lane during these hectic weeks!

Thank you for the sweet note. I always feel as if I've "seen your smiling face" when you leave me a note. And that, my friend, is a very good feeling!

Your pictures - as always - are beautiful and put a smile on my face. It is like summer in my area. Want to walk in the woods and take some pictues of wildflowers that are starting to emerge. Enjoy this new day.

Ernestine, I look forward to seeing photos of the summer-like spring in your region. We had a few days that felt almost like summer last week, but are back to more seasonal temperatures and steady rain.

Enjoy the week ahead! Thank you for visiting!

Nan, Thank you so much! I was in the mood for a spring make-over a couple of weeks ago. I so appreciate your nice comments!

Jessica, Thank you! We're expecting snow tonight and tomorrow, so we'll see how that affects the color! :)
