Autumn Busyness

I have not posted since early September.  It has been a busy month on the farm.  Also, our rural internet connection has been very unreliable.  We have so few options here for internet!

The month has included:
  • Canning Tomatoes
  • Canning Green Beans
  • Canning Pears
  • Cleaning up the garden
  • Harvesting and shelling dried beans
  • A new part time job
  • Substitute teaching
  • Canning Tomatoes
  • Walks in the woods
  • Gathering Wild Apples
  • Making Salsa
  • Putting away summer clothes
  • Pulling out sweaters and hats
  • Going to the Homecoming Football Game
  • Canning Tomatoes
Yes, lots of tomatoes and it wasn't even a very good year for them here, but we planted so many!   October is nearly upon us, and I am contemplating mulled cider and pumpkin bread, and cozy weekends!

So proud of you.
I miss doing this.
Yes, bringing out my sweaters
Understand the computer connection.
I use a Verizon air card
and is not quick.
Take care
and enjoy this Fall...
Doing all I know for healing.
Knees still swollen some
and balance a little better.

Hi Aisling! Yes, October is full of pumpkins and spice! Our leaves are beginning to change.
Your productive putting by of produce sounds nice!

It was lovely to find you here as I've missed you, sweet friend.

Gracious, it *does* sound like you've been busy. Smiling as I join you, in my heart, for some mulled cider and pumpkin bread.

Wishing you well...always.

Mostly food related, I see. You have your priorities in place.

Wow, have you ever been busy. It puts me to shame dear Aisling.

Sending love across the miles,

Sharon

Thank you all for the comments on my Busyness post. That same busyness and poor internet connection have delayed my reponse. You are all such sweet spirits and I love reading your notes!
