Sunday Stroll/March Photo A Day 5 - Lines

The prompt for the March Photo A Day for Sunday was "Lines."
It is easy to find lines in the Sugar Bush,
on a blue sky day in early March.

As the sun warms the slumbering earth,
sap rises up,  bringing life to the sky-seeking arms of the trees.

Tree shadows stretch luxuriously over the clean white snow,

and, bit by bit, winter melts away.

Where ever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you joy.

Lovely photos Marcie! Looks like you still have a good bit of snow.

Steve, I think you are just a bit ahead of us. Do snakes lay low for the winter? Since they are cold blooded, can't imagine them slithering through the snow!

Robin, We do! But, today it is close to 50 degrees F, so some melting going on. Now the drifts are mostly in the shadier places. Another day or two like this, and the snow will be gone. Of course, we are likely to get more several times this month!
