Isn't it wonderful to see everything starting to bloom?Have a good day.Robin
All that fruit! Lucky you! I love buds. They are so full of promise.
I didn't know almond survived winters well. I used to go into the grove in CA after they picked and fill bags full. There is so much demand fr them growers import bees to pollinate. I saw a semi full just the other day. I met someone whose son does that with his bees also.
https://www.arborday.org/trees/treeguide/TreeDetail.cfm?ItemID=1072We grow the above noted variety. A couple of winters ago, very cold temps took a toll. The almonds died back, and now grow in a shrub or bush habit rather than a nice tall tree. It is early years for our orchard, so only minimal production thus far.
We are lucky.. But also diligent! Lol. We planted and tend all those trees. :)
Oh it is! :)
I smileand you remind me of my years in the pastNow not as many as you :) but do grow some...but most in smaller quantities....
Everything looks so fresh and beautiful! Love your animals! LOL! Big Hugs!
