Instead of blogging, I've been tending things that were left undone during my summer college courses. I have been:
~ Attending our town's summer festival
~ Cleaning the basement
~ Preparing our house for a long-term guest (more about that later!)
~ Watering drought-stricken gardens
~ Reading novels (gasp!)
~ Cooking
~ Looking at gardening catalogs (Can it really be almost time to plant bulbs?)
~ School shopping with my daughters
~ Reading novels (again?)
~ Baking bread
~ Taking photos (Everybody needs a hobby, don't they? lol!)

Ok, I'll excuse you, especially since you always share that beautiful photography of yours! Hey speaking of bread and since you hardly have enough to keep you busy (kidding you know) you wouldn't happen to have a really good muffin recipe with whole wheat flour and maybe dates or oatmeal or something on that order that you could share with your blogger buddy, Robbin? I'm looking for something hearty and healthy, that I could make up and and just grab for a healthy breakfast.
Robbin, Thanks for excusing me and for the compliment on my photos! *grin* I have a cool muffin recipe that is a "mix and match" affair, so you can switch the kind of flour (include oatmeal for part), change the liquid ingredients to affect flavor, add in fruit or nuts, etc. I just have to remember where it is, then I'll pass it along! :)
Sounds great Aisling, thank you very much!
You've been doing some wonderful things, Aisling! I am really enjoying your photography, thank you so much for sharing!
Rapunzel, Thanks for coming by. I know you've been busy with family and friends too. :)
