A beautiful picture. Thank you for the encouraging compliment on my new blog. I have had a full life. Ups and downs but at this time things have finally calmed down. Should at this age. My goal to take pictures and post like you do. Have a wonderful day.
Nancy, He was very cooperative. I even ran in the house, got new batteries, and came back out to take a few more. This was the best of the bunch. :)
Ernestine, What a nice comment. Thank you so much. I look forward to more photos on your blog. I think you are creating a really comfortable "country" haven, in the middle of the city.
Keith, Thank you! He does sort of have a cartoon character look, doesn't he?
Rapunzel, I think you probably have some pretty exotic birds, maybe lizards, definitely some warm-weather bugs that I don't have. Thanks for the nice comment.
Robbin, By all means, use him as your desktop. He's been mine all week (I took this last Thursday, I think.) Thank you for such a nice compliment on my photos. I wish I had better equipment, but I try to make the most of what I have.
I am waiting my praying mantis to make an appearance so I can capture her weirdness...this year, there's probably bunches and truthfully, I hate bugs but they are good to have around...well, the right ones are...
Thank you all for the nice comments on my photo. I think bugs in the garden are fun - on my hair or sking... not so much. They make great photo subjects, for sure.

He looks straight out of a cartoon! Lovely photo.
Aisling, that is gorgeous! I wish I had such sights outside my castle door!
Ah, my two favorite colors in perfection. Can I please borrow for my desktop? I love it! YOU should be a professional photographer.
