OH my goodness! What a prize! All of them really but that Monarch, that is really special. Thanks for sharing. I think I'm going to have to replace my wall paper again!!

Robbin, Thanks! I tried this morning to get a picture of a black swallowtail butterfly, not just the caterpillar, but he (or she) just wouldn't sit still. Also, there is this fat, warty, but somehow adorable, toad living in my front garden and I want his photo too, but he was hiding on me! :)

Thanks for visiting. :)

Beautiful. You are talented.
Hopefully I can soon take some pictures in my garden and post.
May be next Spring.

How lovely to see these visitors. The monarchs are spectacular indeed.

Imelda, Thank you for commenting and for visiting. I hope you are doing alright. Yes, the monarchs are so pretty. I keep watching the milkweed for their caterpillars but none yet.

yikes, those worms!!! I guess we don't get those lovely butterflies without the caterpillars and when I saw yours, I thought he was a tomato horned worm. I guess you know best ;) Your butterfly is gorgeous as is your gallardia...I love that shade!

my stroll post is down on the SS post ...I wasn't sure where it should go so there's where it landed!

happy strolling!

Linda, I'm so interested in the butterflies that I think the caterpillars are pretty. :) The tomato hornworm is a "blobbier" fellow than this swallowtail caterpillar, and just solid green.

I'll go find your Sunday Stroll comment and get you added to my post for today. :)

I love the Monarch butterfly on the purple butterfly bush.

Thank you, Nancy and Terra! Butterflies are a favorite subjects, but they are so "flighty" that those photos are not always easy to get. I'm glad you stopped by! :)

I miss my swallowtail butterflies, Aisling; since the lawn service killed my Dutchmans Pipe vine I don't see as many of them. :-( I've got to find a replacement, thank you for the reminder!

Rapunzel, They are really beautiful, aren't they? Besides that, it feels good to know that you are providing them with a food source. It's probably getting harder for them to find all the time.

Nice to see you here!
