For much of the day, I've listened to the splish of raindrops on the window glass, and looked out at the rain splashing down on the parched earth of the garden. Here are a few splashes of color... I know these April showers will bring more.
1)jetfire narcissus 2) hyacinth 3) alchemilla mollis (lady's mantle) 4) acquilegia (columbine) 5)just a few more daffodils

I love that shot of the lady's mantel!
April showers do bring MORE flowers! Your photos are exquisite, especially the raindrops on the lady's mantle! Thanks for sharing!
Ohhh nice! I love the fresh new Lady's Mantle leaves.
P.S....
Aisling,
I love that you've added Shelfari to your sidebar. I just may have to "snag" that! So much fun!
Thank you all. The lady's mantle is a big hit! *grin*
I'm off for a school day in the rain. We need it, so I'm not complaining!
Ruth, I wish I had more time to read for pleasure, but I have read two of those on my Shelfari shelf, and have another one or two to add. I'd love to see what you're reading.
I hope you all have a wonderful week!
I love the start of spring. Daffodils flower just when you think that you can't bear another day of winter, don't they?
Kate
Kate, That's exactly what they do. What a welcome burst of cheeriness daffodils are at the end of winter. Thank you for visiting!
