Hi Aisling,
I love "daughter on the dock"!

Pom Pom,

I could have said "The girl on the dock" but it would not have captured what the moment meant to me. "Daughter" had do much more meaning. Thanks for the positive feedback!

it seems your daughter is as talented as her very talented mother!

aisling, it's been nice to see your lovely photos [my G reader, which really seems to keep us from visiting each other's blogs] so thought I would come on over and leave you a few words....I am assuming you are on summer break, a much needed one,, is my guess!

Linda,

My daughter is very talented, particularly with photographs... but I'll have to take credit for this photo and haiku myself. *grin* She's a cute model though!

And though I have been posting quite a bit these past couple of days, I am not on break for two more weeks... and then only a very short one. I have just been adding some posting in while sitting and doing homework. :)

Nice to hear from you this morning!

Lovely haiku, so expressive of love of nature and child.

Love that shot of your daughter on the dock . . . what a classic! And the light is beautiful, too . . .

I love how it came out too... Thank you for your nice comment!
