Dreaming by the window....

My friend Nan asked to see more of Maude on my blog. I have a fantastic picture of her on top of a hill, with a blue sky above her, but can I find it? Nope. Not yet anyway. In the meantime, I snapped this one of her on Thursday. She was dreaming by the window until I called her name. Despite the old saying that you can't teach an old dog new tricks, at the advanced age of 12, Maude has learned a new one: country line-dancing in my new front garden. Maybe that is what she was dreaming about, when I woke her to take this photo!

What a sweet girl Maude looks like! How nice to have dreams of dancing in a garden. Dream on, Maude!

What a sweetie pie! I'd like to lie by your window and dream like that!

Grace, Yes, though unforunately she dances right on the plants not the spaces inbetween! lol!

Rapunzel, There is a couch very near that window, maybe you could get comfy there instead of on the floor! *grin*

country line dancing in the garden... now there's a trick I suppose you could do without! I got a chuckle over that. (Sorry, it's not funny to the petunias, I know.)

l.l., It is funny! There is this long linear garden, the plants are spaced fairly far apart because it's a new garden (started late last summer - once I finished digging!) So, when Maude gets in it, she steps on the plants instead of the spaces in between. If you yell "Get out of the garden" she has to take the long way... all the way down the long line of garden and out the other end... instead of just stepping 2 feet to the side and being out of it! It really is funny, but the plants are suffering (and the gardener too, I must admit!)
