Remembering Mariah...

This sweet girl was my kitty companion for 17 years. Today is her unofficial birthdate. (I never knew the exact date. ) She died last year on the fourth of July, but I often expect to see her in her favorite perches as I round the corners in my home. I suspect I always will.

My condolences, Nan, I know that our furbabies are never forgotten and hold a special place in our hearts.

Thank you Rapunzel (though I'm Aisling, not Nan! *grin*)

Dear Aisling, I am so sorry! You know whose blog I was reading before, don't you? ;) I hope you know that my condolences are just as heartfelt even if my brain is a bit scattered. *blush*

Rapunzel, Of course I know that! Besides, I would never get upset that someone had me confused with our dear Nan! Thank you again for your condolences. I miss my kitty-girl, but how lucky I was to have known her for so long!

How sweet she looks. You were, indeed, fortunate to have her for a long time. My three oldest kitties are 15, 15 and 14. I'm thankful they've lived so long too. They are close buddies to each other.

And Mariah has a garden in her honor? I may have read that wrong in another post. Will have to look again.

Vicky, How nice that you have 3 kitties so close in age, and so friendly with one another.

Yes, I have a garden planted in honor of Mariah. You saw that she had black fur and golden eyes in her photo. So, the garden is planted with very dark leaved plants and some gold flowers. One day I hope to have just the right garden statue for that garden - of a kitty of course - but haven't found what I want yet.
