Sunday Stroll - A-Flutter

The crest of
mid-December
and
all
is
a-flutter.

Snowflakes tumble,
Flags wave
Leaves shiver,
And trails wander away.

Paper snowflakes twist on ribbons,
As the cold settles in,
and the days slowly roll by,
while hearts are all a-flutter.

Where ever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you the joys of the season.

Such a nice picture and thought process. Thank you for the gentle reminders of what we are all about right now.

Yippee! Yippee! I ALMOST wish for some snow, but we still have old icebergs in our grass and I have some driving around to do!
I hope you are living it up, enjoying that relaxing feeling that comes when finals are over and classes are over and you are free to read whatever you want to. I love that feeling!

Pom Pom, We're getting more snow today, which makes driving a little trickier, but we're old pros at it around here! I love that feeling too, although right now I am too busy preparing for Christmas to have started a novel. I'll get to that after the holidays I hope! :)

Oh you've transported me and my granddaughter says, "I WISH I COULD SEE SNOW TOO." Well, someday, when she is a little older, she will see snow.

You make me long for a scrunching walk through newly fallen snow, a crackling fire, and here is my dream (of a lifetime) a sleigh ride with bells, thick wool blankets, and two prancing horses.

Joyous holidays to you and yours my dear,
Sharon

Sharon,

I have always lived where a white Christmas is a probability, rather than just a wistful dream. I hope your granddaughter gets her wish to see snow someday soon! We are facing the prospect of ice, sleet, snow or a combination thereof over the next few days, so I will be extra-glad to be tucked in among the quilts and wood-stove heat in our little house on the hill.

I wish you the very best this season and always!

hugs,
Aisling
