A Little Note and a Little Quote - Working Out

"In order to really enjoy a dog, one doesn't merely try to train him to be semi-human.
The point of it is to open oneself to the possibility of becoming partly a dog."

~ Edward Hoagland

My new workout plan is simple.  Trying to keep up with this guy! He requires several hours and several miles of exercise per day, plus an infinite amount of fresh air and freedom, as well.  I hope I grow in stamina and endurance as we take our frequent forays into our own forest and the parks and beaches in the region near our home.  How are you doing in terms of daily exercise?  What keeps you motivated?

Where ever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you fresh air and good company.

I try to get out every day. I use a YMCA at lest 3 times a week.

I LOVE that picture. It is great! You need to get that blown up and framed.

Lovely dog, he sure would be a motivator for walking or maybe running! I just enjoy getting out in the fresh air everyday. I know I will feel better for getting some exercise on a daily basis. Walking through our lovely town or hiking through the parks are my favourite form of exercise.
Have a good weekend!

Steve, Good for you! Wish I had a Y closer to home! It is over an hour to the nearest one.

Debbie, Thank you Debbie! So nice to see you here.

Sandra, Thank you! Maybe I will!

Cat Love, He is a good motivator (though exhausting!) I like walking through town when I lived in a small village. I wouldn't have thought I would enjoy it so much, being such a nature girl, but there was always so much to see. A peek through someone's windows at a family around the table for dinner, someone's prize flowers in their glorious garden, other dog walkers, etc. Thank you for chiming in!
