Sunday Stroll - Dog Days of Winter

When the snow drifts, go with the flow.

 Follow the shoreline,

and when you must,

 step out of the wind
and up into the woods.

As you breath the crisp air,
the sound of the winter surf
will add a counterpoint to the
laughter and the footsteps
and the whisper of falling snow.

That is the sound of winter's song,
in these northern hills.

Where ever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you laughter and good company.

Head Out on the Prairie for birds, deer and more with Steve!

It was cold and blustery, but we had a blast.

What a lovely place. And your words are very poignant.
Is that the new family member out there? He looks like he'd be right at home hooked up to a dog sled:)
Happy Valentine's.

Sandra, Yes that is our new fellow! He would LOVE a sled. When I walk him on a leash, I have to remind this energetic guy that I am NOT a sled. lol

Thank you for visiting and Happy Valentine's Day to you too!

Looks like a wonderful time. If it isn't too cold it is lovely to be out in the winter.
Take care.
