Sunday Stroll - Softly

Evening fell softly on our northern hills...
on the first blossoms of spring...
on petals falling softly open, and on petals folding softly together.

Shadows fell across the garden trail,
as golden sun spilled across the eastern hill beyond the garden.

The sun slid down the western sky,
and the world glowed.

Soft, gentle and a sweet telling of early spring. I could hear the inflection of your voice expressing these thoughts. So nice to be able to do that.

It was a soft, gentle day. March has come in like a lamb and stayed pretty true to that thus far.

I often read your posts hearing the sound of your voice too. You're right; it's nice to do so!

Happy Spring!

I just love sun photographs, they always inspire me. Glad to see that spring has sprung in your countryside.

Jessica, It certainly is trying. We are expecting it to dip down to 14 degrees F one night this week, but the days have been so pretty!

A beautiful stroll in your patch of heaven. Spring is coming isn't. Not sleet, nor snow, nor anything else can overcome it. Kinda like faith now that you think about it.~~Dee

Dee, We woke to heavy frost, but the day has been just ideal for late March in our northern hills. I got out in the garden - just for a walk, mind you - and soon was cutting back last years stalks and seed pods(which I left for birds, etc.) There are just a handful of crocuses blooming, but daffodils are emerging left and right. I'm to that time of year when I need to walk through my garden daily so I don't miss anything.
