The sky was so blue and the light so beautiful today, that I took three walks. These photos are from a late afternoon walk to the lake, where sunlight was dancing over wind-tossed waves.
In the fields above the lake, there are remnants of last year's harvest... whole cobs of bright yellow corn, with the brittle brown husks blowing away... bits of honeycomb from hives that were taken away for the winter... and closer to home, ruby red lettuce has sprouted in the herb bed where seeds fell in the autumn.

Three walks? Yahoo! I didn't even take one. I will tomorrow, for sure. Your pictures are lovely. I love the blue-so-blue of the sky this time of year.
What wonderful pictures! We enjoyed a long and beautiful walk through the forest yesterday
Thanks for sharing
Hannah
Pom Pom, My legs can really feel my three walks this morning. My 17 yo daughter and I walked about 4 or 5 miles, up and down hills. :)
Hannah, I love to walk through the forest. My walk with my daughter was on a little lane that winds through a forest, but I didn't have a camera with me for that one.
Thank you both for your kind comments.
Ooohhh...just beautiful !
