A Sunday Stroll...

photos by Aisling, 7/1/2007, 1) The ubiquitous Stella d'oro Lilies are blooming in the butterfly garden. 2) This is the oh-so-pretty Monte Negro Lily picked out by Sijo at the nursery several years ago. 3) Feverfew and lavender are blooming sweetly in the herb bed 4)This Dark Pink Yarrow stands out vividly against the other side of the lavender 5) This delicate pink rose is known as "the fairy." 6) The rose that was grafted on to this root died back the first year, and since then, this lovely coral/red rose has bloomed, gorgeously and fragrantly each year.

Ah,that was a nice stroll, which I took on a very rainy Monday morning here(not complaining, we need it badly) but taking a walk through your garden starts my morning off with the feeling of sunshine and beauty. Thanks for sharing those beauties. Have a good day!

Thank you, Robbin! I'm glad to have added a little sunshine to your rainy Monday! I started the day off with an exam for my online course that lasted 2 hours and 19 minutes. I think I'm ready for another cup of coffee and a real life stroll in the gardens! (Unforunately, there is a sink full of yesterday's dishes with my name on it! lol!)

So lovely! We have lots of rain here as well but I managed to sneak in a bit of gardening yesterday before the heavens opened up.

Rapunzel, We've been getting lots of clouds, but very little rain. I'm so glad you got some time in the garden!
