Invitation to Stroll

John Muir said in 1890, "New beauty meets us at every step in all our wanderings." Today I invite you to find new beauty in your corner of the world.
If you have time this week for a Sunday Stroll, please post about about it on your blog and then come back here with a comment and a link to your post. You may use the Sunday Stroll button at the top of this post on your post or side bar if you would like. I will add participant names to this post so other strollers can walk through your garden too. I'll check back often and try to keep the list updated.

hi aisling in her quiet country house...I am here in my quiet country house and have posted my lovelies...your blog is so beautiful with the bulbs bursting forth from the cold earth...out here, I am a tad ahead of you, me thinks, as the daffys were done 2 months ago and it's roses and jasmine time-lovely...so come take a stroll through my offerings this day and take a peek at my art studio in progress(which is where I was heading). btw, that red tulip is sublime...

love, linda sky

I love your Sunday Stroll photos. How wonderful to have a studio "blooming" as well! Thank you for participating, Linda, and for your friendly comments. What a nice way to start my Monday morning! :)

hi aisling...
that rose is my all time favorite...every flower is a little bit different but always the white to pink and the pink edging... I have had a hard time finding it...it's name is "charles aznevore" but am not sure on that spelling....I got it as a bareroot and almost lost it but it survived and now is thriving with just a little blackspot here and there but I only have two and would like many more....if I find a source, do you want me to let you know? (I bought these bareroot at Petaluma Valley Roses, a fresh rose supplier) and they were online. You might look them up or I can check it out for you)

love, linda
