Monday Muse - Inspiration

Replacing our old dial-up connection with wireless a few months ago has changed my internet experience considerably. Netflix has been one of the most enjoyable aspects of that change. I hardly watch any television and our local video store's selection of offerings does not match my viewing taste. How nice that I now have almost everything to choose from.
Recently I watched a documentary called A Man Named Pearl. This man, a topiary gardener, is truly inspiring, and even if I were not a gardener, I would have found him fascinating. If you have a few minutes and have not heard anything about this movie, you might enjoy watching the trailer I've linked to below. There is also a website about this inspiring gentleman here.

Very cool! I love Netflix, too. I wish I had a bit more time to enjoy it. Yesterday, I watched a movie my sister recommended "Phoebe in Wonderland" and I must contact my sis and ask her about it. I found it disturbing and sad (as a teacher) but it did have some lovely features. My sister put a completely positive spin on it. Hmmmm. Also, another blog friend recommended "The Hobart Shakespeareans" and I loved that! You'd like it, too. Have you seen "August Rush"? I like it when you blog more, A! Yahoo for speedy Internet connections! Have a muse-y week. I'm gonna try!

Pom Pom, I don't have a lot of viewing time either, but I like that Netflix has a "watch it online" feature. If I suddenly find myself with a little time, I can just pick something out and watch it on the spur of the moment. :)

I haven't seen Pheobe in Wonderland or The Hobart Skakespeareans. Actually, I haven't seen August Rush either, but my daughters have recommended it. I think it is on my Netflix queue.

Thanks for the nice comment. What a great way to start a Monday! I hope your week is filled with inspiration too... and I know you will be an inspiration to those you encounter.

Way cool! I also recommend August Rush. I also enjoy reading your thoughts more often. I understand why it doesn't always happen, and so I can wait.

Mom, This is a week in which I have 3 exams, so I probably wont be a very prolific blogger! But, I do appreciate the positive back... nice to know you are out there interested in reading more! :)

I hope you get a chance to watch A Man Named Pearl. I think you would really like it.

That was a very sweet video trailer about a wonderful man. Thanks for sharing it. Now I have to head out to the woods to prune some weeds into shape :-)
