Sunday Roll - Through the Windshield

Headed out on a bleak morning,

up and over the Mackinac Bridge.

Along a windy highway

through Michigan's Upper Penninsula.

Met some family at Rosy's Diner,
as seen in the film,
Escanaba in the Moonlight.

This is the northern shore of Lake Michigan
in the first week of February.

Where ever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you joy in the journey.

You can check out two more strolls (which actually involved walking, unlike mine!) at:

Whoa! Your stroll was much colder than mine, Marcie! Gorgeous photos!

What beautiful, somewhat stark, scenery!

Steve, We sure did!

Pom Pom, It was cold, but not quite as cold as it looks! ;)

Cat, It was a really good day.

Sandra, It is a little stark. Several of these would be beaches and sand dunes in warmer seasons, but for now they are just windswept and, as you say, stark. Come back in late July! The swimming is divine!
