“Life is your art. An open, aware heart is your camera.
A oneness with your world is your film.
Your bright eyes and easy smile is your museum.”
It is not a blue sky day. Wind is still pushing through our region. I headed into the calm heart of the swamp for my photo to respond to the "landscape" prompt. It is a waiting time of year, but is the swamp waiting patiently for another heavy winter storm, or is it waiting, like me, for the green, fresh, arrival of spring?
Where ever you are, whatever the weather, I wish you contentment.

Sandra sent me - and I am grateful. That is a truly beautiful scene. On this side of the world I am getting ready to welcome Autumn. And welcome it I will.
Popped over from Sanda's blog. I vote the swamp is waiting for the arrival of Spring. Enjoyed the poetry and pictures.
I love all the seasons, but I think Autumn in my favorite. Enjoy! Thank you for visiting!
Thank you for popping over. I think we are all getting anxious for Spring. When it was all white snow and blue skies, winter wasn't so bad...now it is a bit drab.
Hi Marcie... I'm Jan!
Sandra gave me an invitation to visit your lovely blog. I am so happy she did. You have lovely photos and thoughts. Nature is beautiful in all the colors that she wears. The top photo was my favorite in your post.
I will be happy to visit here again~
Thank you so much, Jan. Nice to meet you!
I vote for waiting for spring:)
Near a marsh last night are hundreds of Red-winged Blackbirds in route north. When they took of it was a zoom like a plane. Synchonized flying
Steve, What a cool thing to be witness too!
Sandra, I think you are right!

Poet, Thank you! They are very muted and subtle, but I would love to knit with yarn of those hues!
